Role Overview:

As a leading provider of firefighting equipment supply and maintenance in Western Canada we are seeking a motivated Territory Manager to take on the Vancouver West Sea to Sky Region (Squamish, Whistler, Pemberton and surrounding communities). In this role the Territory / Account Manager will develop new prospects, maintain existing accounts and strengthen and foster long‑term business relationships. By applying strong solution‑based sales practices they will convert leads into sales, build on referrals and drive customer satisfaction. Success in this position requires developing a strong understanding of the fire industry including firefighter turnout gear and a wide range of specialized equipment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for a portfolio of clients building strong relationships and ensuring ongoing satisfaction.
  • Foster long‑term partnerships by strengthening existing accounts while driving growth with new clients.
  • Resolve client issues promptly while maintaining a professional solution‑focused approach.
  • Drive sales growth by prospecting within the assigned territory including in‑person visits and outreach.
  • Identify and pursue new market opportunities with a proactive research‑driven approach.
  • Apply consultative selling techniques to qualify prospects and expand the customer base.
  • Provide accurate sales forecasts and performance updates to the Director of Sales.
  • Maintain knowledge of industry standards, practices and procedures within the fire training market.
  • Support customer service needs and take ownership of team and individual results.
  • Demonstrate leadership by guiding and mentoring junior sales associates.
  • Represent the company at trade shows, events and demonstrations.
  • Perform other related duties as required in the Territory / Account Manager role.
Qualifications and Skills:
  • A minimum of 5 years of sales and account / portfolio management experience with a strong background in customer service and client relationship management.
  • Strong business acumen required; post‑secondary education in a related field is an asset.
  • Proven ability to build and maintain customer relationships virtually over the phone and in person.
  • Previous experience preparing sales reports, tracking client visits, attending trade shows and identifying customer needs.
  • Demonstrated enthusiasm, entrepreneurial spirit and accountability for achieving results.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; able to communicate clearly, diplomatically and professionally.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize effectively.
  • Digitally savvy with proficiency in MS Office, Google Workspace and online research tools. Experience with SharePoint is an asset.
  • Skilled at building relationships across divisions, production teams and business customers at all levels.
  • Ability to work independently in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Must have a reliable vehicle and the ability to work effectively from a home‑based office.

  • Full‑time Monday to Friday
