A leading material handling company is seeking a Territory Manager in Calgary to drive sales of forklift and other equipment. Responsibilities

  • Sell both New and Used material handling equipment within the designated AOR.
  • Travel entire AOR to effectively cover all current and prospect-account locations.
  • Grow our share of existing customer base and acquire new customers.
  • Identify and execute growth plans for key strategic customers.
  • Maintain customer status reports including sales call activities and customer lists.
  • Develop and execute marketing and promotional strategies.
  • Stay current on product knowledge and industry competitive models.
  • Complete all sales documentation accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Manage travel requirements and expenses.
Job description

Brandt is currently looking for a Territory Manager - Material Handling in our Calgary location. The Territory Manager will be responsible for the implementation and achievement of all the overall sales and marketing plans for assigned territory targets. The Territory Manager role will drive sales of forklift and/or other material handling equipment in their assigned territory. This role will be very influential in the overall growth of Brandt Material Handling business within the assigned territory.

Duties & Responsibilities
  • Sell both New and Used material handling equipment within the designated Area Of Responsibility (AOR).
  • Travel entire AOR to effectively cover all current and prospect-account locations.
  • Be fully engaged with growing our customer base by:
    • Growing our share of our existing customer base’s
    • Acquiring new customers
    • Identifying Key Strategic Customers (existing & new), and executing a growth plan
    • Building relationships
  • Keep current on customers’ business activities and changing needs.
  • Prepare and maintain customer status reports including (but not limited to):
    • Sales call activities
    • Customer Lists (both current and prospect accounts)
  • Develop and execute marketing and promotional strategies for your AOR.
  • Keep current on product knowledge and industry (competitive) models.
  • Complete all sales documentation in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Manage travel requirements and expenses in a timely manner.
  • Other projects/duties as required.
