Job summary

Brandt Tractor Ltd. in Vernon, BC is seeking a Territory Manager for Compact Construction Equipment to drive growth across the region.

You will build strong customer relationships, promote our line of skid steers, track loaders, mini excavators, and wheel loaders, and collaborate with Parts, Service, and Finance to deliver integrated solutions. This full-time role requires 3–5 years of sales experience and willingness to travel.

Qualifications

  • 3–5 years of proven sales experience in construction, agricultural, or heavy equipment industries.
  • Strong knowledge of compact construction equipment.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Willingness to travel extensively within assigned territory.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute territory sales strategies to maximize revenue and market share.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities to achieve growth targets.
  • Promote Brandt’s compact equipment line to strengthen brand presence and sales.
  • Negotiate sales contracts to ensure profitability and customer satisfaction.
  • Build and maintain long-term customer relationships for retention and referrals.
  • Collaborate with Parts, Service, and Finance to provide integrated solutions.
  • Monitor customer operations to anticipate needs and provide proactive solutions.
  • Prepare and maintain accurate customer status reports weekly.
  • Coordinate upfitting, check-ins, and delivery schedules with Sales Coordinators.
  • Complete sales documentation, travel plans, and expense reports promptly.
  • Participate in weekly sales meetings and training to stay updated.

Description

Brandt Tractor Ltd. is currently seeking a Territory Manager - Compact Construction Equipment for our Kelowna location.

The Compact Construction Equipment Territory Manageris responsible forselling new and used compact construction equipment within an assigned Area of Responsibility (AOR). This role focuses on developing business opportunities, strengthening customer relationships, and achieving sales goals to grow revenue and market share.

What You Will Be Responsible For
  • Develop and execute territory sales strategies to maximize revenue and expand market share within the assigned Area of Responsibility (AOR).
  • Identifyand pursue new business opportunities by prospecting, networking, and responding to market trends to achieve growth targets.
  • Promote Brandt’s compact construction equipment line to existing and potential customers to strengthen brand presence and increase sales.
  • Negotiate sales contracts and terms to ensure profitability and customer satisfaction.
  • Build andmaintainlong-term customer relationships to ensure retention, repeat business, and referrals.
  • Collaborate with Parts, Service, and Finance departments to provide integrated solutions that meet customer needs efficiently and effectively.
  • Monitor customer operations and changing requirements toanticipateneeds and provide proactive solutions.
  • Prepare andmaintainaccuratecustomer status reports, including call activity, prospect lists, and opportunity trackingsubmittedweekly, to support informed sales strategies.
  • Coordinate equipment check-ins, upfitting, and delivery schedules with Sales Coordinators to ensuretimelyandaccuratefulfillment.
  • Complete all sales documentation, travel plans, and expense reports promptly tomaintainoperational accuracy and compliance.
  • Participate actively in weekly sales meetings and training sessions to stay informed on products, market trends, and company initiatives.
What We Look For
  • 3–5 years of proven sales experience in construction, agricultural, or heavy equipment industries an asset.
  • Strong knowledge of compact construction equipment, including skid steers, track loaders, mini excavators, and wheel loaders.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Highly self-motivated, organized, andresults-driven.
  • Willingness to travel extensively within assigned territory.
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
