Job summary

A leading pharmaceutical company is seeking a Territory Business Manager for the Hamilton/Mississauga region in Ontario. This role requires a competitive individual to promote prescription medications to healthcare providers, establish professional relationships, and drive brand awareness. Ideal candidates will have previous sales experience, excellent communication skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. A university degree is preferred, and bilingual proficiency in English and French is advantageous.

Qualifications

  • Previous pharmaceutical/medical or device sales experience is required.
  • Understanding of Women's health and GI therapeutic area preferable.
  • Bilingual – English and French is preferred.

Territory Business Manager – Hamilton/Mississauga Region

We are currently looking for a Territory Business Manager to cover the Hamilton/Mississauga region for a one-year contract.

We are looking for a competitive Territory Business Manager who can thrive in a fast-paced business environment and can easily adapt to a virtual environment. You will be responsible for the promotion of prescription and medical product(s) to a targeted list of physicians, specialists and health care providers to drive brand awareness and increase sales.

As the key link between our company and healthcare professionals, your goal is to increase the visibility and awareness of our company’s pharmaceutical and medical products and to maximize sales growth.

Responsibilities
  • Establish and maintain professional relationships with targeted key opinion leaders including physicians, nurse practitioners, and medical staff
  • Meet or exceed goals and objectives, by developing and implementing strategies and activities specific to the assigned territory
  • Provide product information utilizing effective selling skills
  • Build positive trust relationships with MSL’s to influence targeted group in the decision making process
  • Monitor and analyze data and market conditions to identify competitive advantage
  • Keep accurate records and documentation for reporting and feedback
  • Pursue continuous learning and professional development and stay up-to-date with latest medical data and digital trends
  • Carry out all duties and responsibilities in compliance with applicable regulations and Pharma guidelines
  • Ensure prompt communication (within one business day) of any complaints, including potential adverse drug reactions, product complaints, medical information inquiries to the Pharmacovigilance/Drug Safety department immediately
Qualifications and Key Competencies
  • University Degree - Science or Business preferred
  • Previous pharmaceutical/medical or device sales experience is required
  • Team player
