We’re seeking a Terrestrial Ecologist or Environmental Scientist with experience in vegetation ecology and wetlands to join our Environmental Services Team in Atlantic Canada.
Depending on candidate qualifications, this will be a contract position with the potential to transition to a full‑time permanent position based on performance and availability of work, or a full‑time permanent position.
The hiring process is ongoing, and applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis.
A bachelor or graduate degree or technical diploma in biology, ecology, botany, environmental management and/or other related environmental field or equivalent skills.
Previous experience working in the environmental consulting industry is an asset.
Please include information on field‑based skills/experience and current health and safety training (First Aid, auxiliary vehicles, etc.).

In compliance with pay transparency laws, pay ranges are provided for positions in locations where required. Please note, the final agreed upon compensation is based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location. At Stantec certain roles are bonus eligible. Actual compensation for part‑time roles will be pro‑rated based on the agreed number of working hours per week.
