Job summary

SGS is a world-leading testing, inspection and certification company seeking a PTO Technician in Canada. The role involves loading and unloading rail cars and trucks, preparing shipments, and completing paperwork.

You will wash, inspect, and repair items, operate washing/drying equipment, and support line handling and marine duties where applicable. The position requires flexibility with rotating day and night shifts, a high school diploma or equivalent, and 0–1 years of relevant experience.

Qualifications

• Education: High school Diploma (or equivalent) is required.
• Experience: 0-1 years of relevant work experience required or equivalent experience through education.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload rail cars and trucks; prepare shipments; complete paperwork.
• Inspect and wash MOT; operate wash and dry equipment; communicate status.
• Line handling and marine operations duties as applicable; ensure proper safety and regulatory compliance.
• Coordinate with facility supervisor and other teams to resolve issues and maintain safety.
