A major ferry service provider in West Vancouver is seeking Terminal Attendants to support operations during a reconstruction project. BC Ferries is seeking Terminal Attendants who are passionate about delivering outstanding customer service, prioritizing safety, and creating a positive travel experience. As we begin a major reconstruction project at Horseshoe Bay Terminal, we are hiring additional team members to support our operations and ensure our customers continue to receive the high level of service they expect.
Reporting to the Terminal Manager, Terminal Attendants are responsible for:
You are enthusiastic, reliable, and service orientated individual who excels working in a fast passed customer focused environment. You are an excellent communicator and work well in a team environment. In addition, you are comfortable working in a physical environment and working outside in all weather conditions.
You have one (1) year of customer service experience and possess a Class 5 or 7N Drivers Licence with a clean ICBC Drivers Record Report.
Preference may be shown to applicants who hold an Occupational First Aid Level 3.
Casual employees will be provided a minimum monthly equivalent of 7 shifts per month subject to meeting minimum availability requirements. During the Horseshoe Bay reconstruction project and other peak travel periods (Christmas and Summer), we anticipate opportunities to work beyond the minimum guarantee.
