Job summary

Heidelberg Materials is hiring in Edmonton to operate and monitor terminal equipment, loading and unloading materials safely and efficiently.

You will perform routine inspections, maintain accurate records, and communicate with teammates and supervisors to ensure smooth operations.

The role requires adaptability to a physically demanding, fast-paced environment with a willingness to work weekends, overtime, and flexible hours.

Qualifications

  • Railcar mover experience is an asset.

What You'll Be Doing
  • Operate and monitor terminal equipment to load and unload materials safely and efficiently
  • Perform routine inspections and maintenance of equipment and work areas
  • Maintain accurate records of materials handled and operational activities
  • Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to ensure smooth operations
  • Follow all safety protocols and environmental regulations
What Are We Looking For

Conditions of Employment

Successful candidate must submit to post-offer pre-employment physical examination and background check. Applicants must be 18 years of age or older to apply. Verification of age will be required as a condition of employment.

Work Environment

Role operates primarily in environments where the conditions include moving mechanical equipment, inclement weather, heat, cold, humidity, and elevated noise level.
