Qualifications

• Only candidates who were internationally based, both working and residing outside Canada, on August 5, 2026, are eligible.
• Candidates must be within five years following the start date of their first research-related appointment, minus eligible delays.
• A PhD is required by McGill University for appointment to a tenure-track position, though not required by the Impact+ program.
• Canadians living abroad who wish to relocate are encouraged to apply; professional engineering registration within five years may be required.

Responsibilities

• Lead an independently funded research program, teach undergraduate and graduate courses, and develop courses in areas of specialization.
• Supervise and mentor graduate students and contribute to the intellectual life of the University.
