Thames Valley District School Board (TVDSB) is hiring a Temporary Speech Language Pathologist to join a multi-disciplinary team delivering school-based services. The role conducts assessments, provides direct and indirect interventions, and develops individualized programs for students across London and surrounding counties.

Candidates must hold a Master’s in Speech-Language Pathology, be registered with the Ontario College of Audiologists and Speech-Language Pathologists, and demonstrate

TEMPORARY SPEECH LANGUAGE PATHOLOGIST

POSITION TITLE: Temporary Speech Language Pathologist

SALARY RANGE:$50.85 - $63.09 per hour, plus 4% vacation pay

DATE OF VACANCY:As soon as possible

POSITION SUMMARY: The Speech-Language Pathologist works as a member of a multi-disciplinary team; provides school-based services for students, staff, and parents; uses an educational model of service delivery to conduct assessments; provides direct and indirect interventions and develops programs; liaises with community agencies and conducts in-service sessions for Board Staff.

QUALIFICATIONS: A Master’s Degree (Speech - Language Pathology); be registered with the College of Audiologists and Speech - Language Pathologists of Ontario; and possess a high level of interpersonal, organizational and facilitation skills.

The recruitment process requires a criminal background check for work with vulnerable persons. In accordance with regulations, this will be an ongoing expectation of employment for TVDSB employees every five years of employment.
