Job summary

Region of Waterloo is hiring for a Temporary Full-Time Roads Maintenance position based at the Heidelberg Office. Qualifications

• Must have 2 years of directly related road maintenance experience.
• Valid Class D driver’s licence with Z endorsement.
• Grade 12 education or equivalent.
• Ability to operate heavy trucks and related equipment.
• Strong safety and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Operate tandem-axle dump trucks and utility vehicles to haul material between worksites.
• Perform daily maintenance checks and report needs to supervisor.
• Cut grass along roadsides using tractor with mower extensions.
• Winter snow and ice control operations.
• Install culverts and perform road maintenance tasks.
