What You’ll Do

The Temporary Part‑Time Retail Sales Associate (Stylist) creates an unforgettable shopping experience that leaves customers inspired and feeling their best. Primary responsibilities include delivering excellent customer service, building wardrobes, and participating in visual merchandising and maintaining store presentation while focusing on customers’ needs to achieve sales goals. This seasonal role supports the business through additional traffic; the end employment date will be discussed during the interview process.

General Work Expectations

• Guide the customer through our award‑winning brand experience to make authentic connections

• Cash Wrap / Cashier: use modern store technology (POS, payment systems, tablets, headsets for communication) to be well‑informed on company priorities and promotions in‑store and online; deliver a seamless, omni‑channel shopping experience; promote loyalty programs and credit services
• Maintain Maurices’ visual and operational standards while keeping the focus on the customer
• Product Flow / Shipping and Receiving: support the shipment process to gain awareness of product, what’s new and what’s already on the floor; contribute to the completion of omni‑order fulfilment processes including in‑store and curbside pick‑up

Position Requirements

• At least 16 years of age
• A willingness to relate to customers of all ages and backgrounds
• Goal/achievement oriented
• Some technical aptitude
• Ability to follow directions and work with a sense of urgency in a fast‑paced environment, while handling competing priorities
• Ability to work a flexible schedule; this is a temporary position supporting additional seasonal traffic, and the end employment date will be discussed during the interview process
