The position offers a salary range of $101,043 - $112,270 and a hybrid work model.

Qualifications

ENWIN Utilities Ltd., is currently accepting applications for the vacant position of: Temporary Regulatory Analyst (Temporary contract length – 36 months)

Location: Windsor, ON (Hybrid)

Reporting to the Manager Regulatory Affairs, the successful candidate will be responsible to support the Regulatory Department by monitoring regulatory developments within the electricity industry (Ontario Energy Board, Ministry of Energy and Mines, etc.) and engage with internal and external stakeholders to understand impacts and advance business outcomes. This position is responsible for ensuring new regulatory requirements are communicated and implemented internally, as well as ensuring ongoing compliance through effective follow-up and monitoring activities. The Temporary Regulatory Analyst will prepare and oversee the development of components of electricity rate applications, and the preparation, consolidation, and submission of regulatory reports to ensure compliance. This position requires the successful candidate to utilize critical thinking and judgement skills on a regular basis.

Qualifications
  • University Degree in Business, Finance/Accounting, Legal, Engineering or other related
  • Minimum three (3) years’ related
  • Thorough understanding of Ontario’s electricity regulatory framework, including familiarity with

Ontario Energy Board (OEB) codes, processes, and related laws and regulations.

  • Advanced to expert skills using Microsoft Excel, as well as advanced computer skills for word processing and documentation production (Word, PowerPoint, etc.).
  • Ability to utilize analytical, interpretive, evaluative and/or constructive thinking and
  • Ability to manage and prioritize multiple competing
  • MEARIE relevant industry training (such as MEARIE Regulatory Specialist course) is considered an asset.
