This position involves collaborating with hiring managers, conducting interviews, and enhancing the recruitment process while promoting diversity and inclusion. Qualifications

  • CPHR, Registered Professional Recruiter (RPR) or other specialized recruiter certification is an asset.

Job description

Engineered Air is one of North America's largest manufacturers of heating, air conditioning, ventilation, refrigeration, energy recovery, and heat transfer products. Engineered Air's integrated sales, design, and manufacturing groups enable the company to produce equipment that is designed to fit a specific project's requirements.

Engineered Air is seeking a dynamic, results-oriented individual to fill a temporary position as a Recruiter working out of our Head Office located in Calgary Alberta. This role is for approximately 12-15 months and has a Monday to Friday schedule. The Recruiter will work collaboratively as part of the Human Resources team and applicable stakeholders, reporting to the Human Resources Manager.

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Collaborate with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and develop comprehensive recruitment strategies.
  • Utilize various sourcing methods such as job boards, social media, networking, and industry events to identify and engage potential candidates.
  • Proactively sourcing candidates, passive and active, to maintain a stable pipeline utilizing various sourcing channels.
  • Review resumes and applications to identify candidates that meet the required qualifications for both hourly and salary roles.
  • Conduct initial phone screens and assessments to evaluate candidates' suitability for specific roles.
  • Manage and conduct interviews, qualify or reject candidates based on interview feedback and resume reviews.
  • Ensure a positive and seamless candidate experience from initial contact through the entire recruitment process.
  • Verify adherence to relevant legislations and regulations while promoting diversity and inclusion in all aspects of the recruitment process.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, competitor practices, and emerging recruitment technologies to continuously improve the talent acquisition process.
  • Track and analyze recruitment metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of recruitment strategies and make data-driven recommendations for process improvements.
  • Contribute to the enhancement of the company's employer brand by creating compelling external recruitment materials and communication tools.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders on social media initiatives.
  • Additional duties may arise as required.
QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE
  • Diploma or Degree in Human Resources or related work experience
  • A minimum of 2 years of direct work experience.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office is required.
  • Prior experience with an applicant tracking system (ATS).
  • CPHR, Registered Professional Recruiter (RPR) or other specialized recruiter certification is an asset.
