• Strong understanding of outcomes-based assessment practices.
• Willingness to work collaboratively as a member of an instructional team.
• Commitment to building relationships with students to create a safe, caring and welcoming learning environment.
• Strong belief in parent involvement and communication including regular communication with home beyond the use report cards.
• Strong organizational and classroom management skills.
• In-depth knowledge of current outcomes-based assessment practices and ability to develop multiple assessments (portfolios, projects, etc.).
• Passion for working with ethnically diverse students, including First Nations, Metis and Inuit.
• Ability to address diverse academic, behavioral, emotional and curricular needs within the classroom.
• Alberta Teaching Certificate or eligibility for same;

Responsibilities

We are seeking a temporary part-time elementary generalist teacher at approximately 0.5 FTE. The contract will commence on August 26, 2026 and end on June 29, 2027.

We are seeking a teacher who has;
