Job summary

Bimeda is seeking temporary Packagers for full-time night shifts in a GMP packaging environment. You will package syringes and bottles, ensuring quality and proper labeling while adhering to SOPs and safety policies.

Ideal candidates have at least 1 year of GMP packaging experience, good math skills, and strong English. The role requires lifting up to 30 lbs and standing for long periods during the 11:00pm–7:30am schedule.

Qualifications

• 1 year experience in GMP pharmaceutical packaging/manufacturing preferred.
• High School Diploma required.
• Good basic math skills.
• Strong English language skills (verbal, reading, writing).
• Good hand–eye coordination and manual dexterity.
• Ability to lift up to 10 lbs, occasionally up to 30 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Manually package syringes or plastic and glass bottles (50ml–1000ml).
• Place bottles in individual cartons with inserts; carton and shipper labeling and stacking.
• Inspect products for visual defects to ensure GMP quality.
• Follow Safety Policies, GMP and SOPs; report accidents or hazards immediately.

Job Summary

We are looking for temporary Packagers to work full-time.

Reporting to the Production Supervisor, the Packager is responsible for ensuring the product meets quality standards during manual packaging operations and packing product in compliance with cGMP and SOP requirements.

*** 4 Weeks Contract Position

Job Duties

• Night shift - 11:00pm - 7:30am Monday to Friday
• 
  To manually package syringes or plastic and glass bottles ranging from 50ml to 1000ml in size.
• 
  Place bottles in an individual carton with insert and package the cartons in shipper, tape the shipper, apply labels and arrange on the skid.
• 
  Inspect all products for visual defects during packaging process to ensure quality and cGMP compliance.
• 
  Visual acuity (including with corrective lenses) required to check the lot number and bottles for cleanliness.
• 
  Ensures that all work is carried out in compliance with company Safety Policies, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
• 
  Reports any accidents, incidents and injuries or illnesses immediately and notifies manager of any hazards, unsafe acts, or conditions in the workplace.

Technical/Physical & Behavioral Abilities

• 
  1 year experience, preferably in a GMP pharmaceutical packaging & manufacturing facility
• 
  High School Diploma required
• 
  Good basic math skills
• 
  Good command of the English Language, verbal, reading and writing.
• 
  Strong hand & eye coordination manual dexterity, some repetitive movements and standing for long periods.
• 
  Able to lift and move up to 10lbs and occasionally up to 30lbs.
• 
  High integrity, team player, flexibility in working overtime, responsible, reliable, with good attention to details, good problem-solving skills.
• Must be able to work the whole contract duration.
