Ability to assist in the schools co‑curricular and extra‑curricular programs would be considered an asset. Possessing a certificate in Catholic Education from St. Joseph's College is an asset.
École Mother d’Youville School offers a dual track, English and French Immersion program for Beaumont and area students in grades 5 to 9. École Mother d’Youville School honours Saint Marie‑Marguerite d’Youville (1701‑1771), a French Canadian widow who founded the famous Grey Nuns religious order of sisters. Mother d’Youville has inspired and continues to inspire thousands of people.
Beaumont is a town located 3.2 kilometers south of the City of Edmonton. Originally a French farming community, Beaumont is now a town of 17,720 people. Its downtown core resembles a French village with unique architecture and red brick walkways. It is named for the 'beautiful hill' on which St. Vital Church, built in 1919, is located within the centre of the town.
