Location: Saskatoon, SK
Pay Range: $16.50 – $18.10/hour
Employment Type: Temporary
End Date: February 2026

Overview

Paladin Security is hiring Temporary Casual Security Guards to serve clients across Saskatoon. If you are seeking flexible work in a rewarding environment that values professionalism and safety, this role offers the opportunity to develop key skills in customer service, security operations, and emergency response. Responsibilities
  • Provide exceptional customer service and build positive relationships with clients and visitors
  • Conduct proactive patrols to ensure safety and address policy breaches
  • Respond to security alarms and emergencies in a timely and professional manner
  • De-escalate crises and coordinate with emergency personnel (police, fire, paramedics) as needed
  • Exercise crowd control and remove trespassers when necessary
  • Write clear and accurate incident and daily activity reports
  • Provide first aid and emergency medical response when required
  • Utilize two-way radios and software tools to document site activities
  • Manage lost and found inquiries
  • Perform additional duties as assigned
  • Legally authorized to work full-time in Canada
  • Available for weekends, days, evenings, and overnight shifts
  • Possess a reliable personal vehicle
  • Hold a valid Class 5 driver’s license
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong customer service and interpersonal abilities
  • Physically capable of walking 18–20 km per shift and climbing stairs
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent
Nice to Have
  • Enrollment in or returning to school (September, January, or May intake)
  • Valid Security Guard License or Security Guard Certificate for Saskatchewan
  • First Aid – Standard Level C or higher certification
  • Previous experience in a security, law enforcement, or customer service setting
