  • Hand-eye coordination and attention to detail.
  • High work ethics with ability to work independently and in a team.
  • Ability to lift 25+ pounds regularly.

Responsibilities

  • Practice HSE and Quality culture in the Quality Department.
  • Follows all Company policies, procedures, and SOPs.
  • Perform pre-analytical procedures such as sample preparation, processing and organizing.
  • Perform routine and non-routine analysis of samples to determine mineral properties.
  • Maintain accuracy and calibration of laboratory testing equipment.
  • Perform routine inspections on laboratory equipment and preventive maintenance.
  • Maintain good record keeping of lab results, calibrations and preventive maintenance.
  • Identifies abnormal observations and reports them to the supervisor.
  • Ensure that work order documentation is completed accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Input data using relevant computer software programs.
  • Perform other duties as required.

Purpose of Role:

Reporting to the Laboratory Supervisor, Sample Bucker is accountable for performing sample preparation, analysis, data assessment and reporting in a safe, efficient manner. You will work closely with the team to guarantee sample quality and provide accurate data to control quality and optimize mining operations.

Role Accountabilities:

  • Practice Health, Safety, Environmental, and Quality culture in the Quality Department by participating in safety meetings and upholding company policies and procedures,
