A local staffing agency in Whistler is looking for housekeepers and cleaners for flexible shifts throughout the Sea-to-Sky area. Job description

Shifts for temp housekeepers, cleaners and housepersons are available throughout Whistler and can supplement your income when you have a free day. Experience is not usually required, and if you have experience, it may earn an extra $3/hr. You can choose shifts to work to flexibly manage your schedule in the Sea-to-Sky area.

Positions

• Housekeepers, housepersons, overnight cleaners

Dates

• Daily shifts are available on an ongoing basis

Hours

• Morning, evening and overnight shifts for 6-8 hours

Wages

• $21-$28/hr + 4% vacation pay

Whistler Personnel uses a progressive pay system that awards pay increases based on the number of Successful Shifts completed. The more you work with us, the more you get paid per hour, and many shifts include extra bonuses per hour. Ask us for more details!

Successful Shifts are defined as being on time, hard-working, and making our clients happy. These shifts can be in any temp position with Whistler Personnel.

Housekeepers / Cleaners

• Times: 8am-9:30am starts, usually 6-8 hours
• Duties: Assisting with cleaning of rooms, removal of linens and garbage, stocking of supplies and helping where needed
• Skills/Qualifications: Friendly, hard-working and willing to pitch in. Experience is not usually required; experience can mean an extra $3/hr
• Wage: $20-$28/hr + 4% vacation pay

Assistant housekeeper (No experience required)

• PROBY (Tier 1) = $21/hr to start
• REGULAR (Tier 2) = $23/hr after 10 successful shifts
• HERO (Tier 3) = $25/hr after 20 successful shifts

Experienced housekeeper (6+ months prior housekeeping experience required):

• PROBY (Tier 1) = $24/hr to start
• REGULAR (Tier 2) = $26/hr after 10 successful shifts
• HERO (Tier 3) = $28/hr after 20 successful shifts

*Initial shift will be used to verify experience and cleaning skills by our clients.

Housepersons/Stewards

• Times: 9am-5pm
• Duties: Assisting with the delivery of supplies to rooms for guests, restocking of carts, shelves and linens, cleaning public areas, removal of garbage and willing to pitch in where needed
• Skills/Qualifications: No experience required. Friendly, hard-working and willing to pitch in where needed
• Wage: $20-$24/hr + 4% vacation pay

Night Cleaners (Graveyard Shift = an extra $2/hour!)

• Times: Starting around 10:30pm and working overnight
• Duties: Cleaning public areas, washrooms and restaurants. Vacuuming, dusting, scrubbing and general cleaning where required
• Skills/Qualifications: No experience required. Friendly, hard-working and willing to pitch in where needed
• Wage: $20-$24/hr + 4% vacation pay

Note: Initial and ongoing shifts may be adjusted by client requirements and performance.
