An innovative school district seeks a temporary full-time teacher for Composition/Literary Studies/Media Design/CLE/PHE 10. The ideal candidate will possess a valid BC Ministry of Education Teaching Certificate and demonstrate an ability to create a positive classroom environment while collaborating with staff. A temporary full time (1.0) Composition/Literary Studies/Media Design/CLE/PHE 10 Teacher is required by School District No. 60 (Peace River North) effective September 1, 2026 to June 30, 2027. The assignment will be at the Energetic Learning Campus.
The Energetic Learning Campus (ELC) is located within a ‘community hub’, which is the Pomeroy Sports Center, approximately a kilometre from main campus. Students at the ELC have access to sporting facilities within the Pomeroy Sport Centre for physical fitness and projects that could incorporate fitness, science, math and humanities as part of a Project Based Learning model.
