Job summary

leading-edge is seeking an experienced Temenos Solution Architect to design and implement banking solutions in Calgary. You will work with clients, stakeholders, and delivery teams to translate business needs into scalable Temenos-based architectures.

The ideal candidate has 8–10 years in banking software with at least 5 years in Temenos architecture, knowledge of T24/Temenos Transact, and strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in CS/IT or related field.
• 8–10 years in banking software; minimum 5 years Temenos architecture/implementation.
• Deep knowledge of Temenos products (T24, Transact, Wealth).
• Strong communication and stakeholder management.

Responsibilities

• Design and propose comprehensive banking solutions using Temenos software, aligning with clients' business requirements and strategic objectives.
• Develop and maintain the overall architecture of Temenos-based solutions, ensuring alignment with industry standards and best practices.
• Collaborate with clients and stakeholders to gather and document business requirements, identifying opportunities for process improvements and operational efficiency.
• Work with implementation teams to ensure successful solution delivery, providing technical guidance and support as needed.
• Collaborate with testing teams to ensure solution quality, identifying and addressing defects and improvements opportunities.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and partners, ensuring effective communication and issue resolution.
• Stay up-to-date with Temenos software releases, updates, and industry trends, applying this knowledge to solution design and implementation.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, delivery, and support, to ensure aligned solution strategies and effective solution delivery.

3. 3. In-depth knowledge of Temenos software, including T24, Temenos Transact, and Temenos Wealth.
4. 4. Strong understanding of software architecture and design principles, including microservices, APIs, and cloud-based solutions.
5. 5. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills.
6. 6. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to think strategically and creatively.
