Job summary

Gexel Telecom International Inc. is seeking a Telecom Rigger to install radios, lines, antennas, and related equipment on towers, rooftops, and industrial sites in the Maritimes. The role requires working at heights, travel to job sites, and strict safety adherence.

The candidate should hold ASP Construction certification and a valid Class 5 driver’s license, be physically fit, and possess strong problem-solving skills. Compensation will be based on experience and skills.

Qualifications

  • Health and Safety on Construction Sites (ASP Construction) certification is required.
  • Valid Class 5 driver’s license is required.

Responsibilities

  • Install telecommunications equipment (radios, lines, antennas, etc.).
  • Work at heights on telecommunications towers.
  • Connect and integrate telecommunications equipment.
  • Carry out vertical and horizontal movement within steel or wooden structures.
  • Perform tasks while suspended in the air.
  • Use hand and electronic tools safely and effectively.
  • Collaborate across departments to maintain cohesion.
  • Promote and contribute to a healthy, safe, respectful, and continuously improving work environment.
  • Perform other related tasks normally carried out by a Wireless Technician as needed.
