Job summary

Appliance Force in Calgary is seeking a skilled Appliance Repair Technician to diagnose and repair major household appliances in customers’ homes while delivering professional, friendly service. The ideal candidate will have appliance repair experience, strong troubleshooting skills, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs (100 lbs occasionally).

Training from SAIT or equivalent is an asset.

We are currently looking for a skilled and motivated Appliance Repair Technician to join our growing team.

As an Appliance Repair Technician, you will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing major household appliances in customers’ homes while delivering professional, friendly service. This role is ideal for someone who is self-motivated, organized, and enjoys problem-solving.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair major household appliances including washers, dryers, dishwashers, refrigerators, ovens, and ranges
• Provide clear explanations and repair estimates to customers
• Complete service calls efficiently and professionally
• Maintain accurate service records, invoices, and work orders
• Ensure company vehicle and tools are properly maintained
• Deliver outstanding customer service during every visit

Job Requirements

• Appliance repair experience preferred (training from SAIT or equivalent is an asset)
• Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
• Ability to work independently and manage a daily service schedule
• Comfortable using tablets or mobile software for service documentation
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and up to 100 lbs occasionally
