The Production Support team is at the forefront of maintaining and optimizing critical live production systems, ensuring their health, stability, and peak performance so that Citi can confidently conduct business and service clients. Our analysts use their problem solving and technical skills to quickly resolve any issues, which can vary in severity and complexity and may impact Citi’s reputation or profits. Production support analysts are often ‘the bridge’ between technology and the business, so they quickly become equipped with extensive business knowledge, as well as technical skills. As a Production Support Analyst, you will work in a dynamic environment that adapts to the needs and priorities of various organizations: Services, Markets, Banking, Functions and Data. This role offers a unique blend of business knowledge and technical expertise, empowering you to swiftly troubleshoot complex problems and engineer robust solutions. Your core mission will be to guarantee production stability, providing an always available and resilient technological backbone for our clients. This involves coordinating with other technology partners such as developers, business teams, etc. to monitor the end-to-end application environment in real-time.

What You’ll Do & Learn:
  • Hands‑On Incident & Problem Management: Gain direct exposure to supporting our clients through the entire lifecycle of incident and problem management. You'll develop critical problem‑solving skills and learn how to manage complex technical challenges under pressure.
  • Enhancing Monitoring & Alerting Systems: Contribute to the continuous improvement of our sophisticated monitoring capabilities. You'll work with industry‑standard tools like ITRS Geneos and Grafana to build and refine platforms that proactively identify and alert on production issues, enabling rapid resolution.
  • Developing Innovative Tooling & Automation: Unleash your coding potential! You'll have the exciting opportunity to design, develop, and implement custom applications and scripts that automate processes, improve efficiency, and empower your team.
  • Elevate your technical skills: As a Production Support Analyst, you'll master Linux/Unix, hone database expertise (SQL, Oracle, PostgreSQL), and build automation with Python. You'll gain experience with application servers, web technologies, and strengthen networking knowledge. This role offers hands‑on use of monitoring tools (ITRS Geneos, Grafana) and exposure to cloud and containerization (Kubernetes), ensuring continuous growth in a dynamic production environment.
