Infosys is seeking a Technology Lead - Android Developer to shape the future of our Android applications. You will drive architecture decisions, contribute code, and lead testing efforts across the SDLC.

This role requires close collaboration with stakeholders and a passion for high-quality mobile experiences. The ideal candidate will have 6+ years in Android, strong Kotlin skills, Jetpack Compose experience, and a solid grasp of MVVM, VIPER, and Dagger.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 years of Android development experience.
• Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent; or 3 years of progressive experience in lieu of education.
• At least 4 years in IT with strong Android shipping track record.
• Authorized to work in Canada without employer sponsorship.
• Expertise in Kotlin and Jetpack Compose.
• Strong knowledge of design patterns (MVVM, VIPER, Dagger).
• Proficient with Android Studio and testing frameworks.

Infosys is seeking a Technology Lead - Android Developer.

In this role, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our Android applications. You will leverage your deep technical expertise across the entire Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), interfacing with key stakeholders throughout the process. This includes requirements elicitation, application architecture definition, design, and high-level design creation. You'll also contribute high-quality code for assigned modules, lead validation efforts for all testing phases, and support activities related to implementation, transition, and warranty. Required Qualifications

• Candidate must be located within commuting distance of Mississauga/Toronto, ON (Canada) or be willing to relocate to the area. This position may require travel to project locations.
• Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
• At least 4 years of Information Technology experience.

• A minimum of 6 years of experience in Android development with a proven track record of shipping successful applications.
• Expertise in Kotlin and Jetpack Compose programming languages.
• In-depth understanding of modern design patterns like MVVM, Viper, and Dagger.
• Strong experience with Android Studio development environment.
• Proven ability to write unit and integration tests using relevant frameworks.
• Experience integrating and utilizing third-party libraries and SDKs effectively.
• Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills to effectively lead and work within a cross-functional team.
• A passion for building user-centric and high-quality mobile applications.

Preferred Qualifications

• At least 6 years of experience in Android Development
• At least 6 years in Kotlin and at least 2 years in Jetpack Compose programming languages
• Good experience in project life cycle activities on development projects.
• Experience with cloud platforms and backend technologies relevant to mobile development is a plus.
• Ability to work in team in diverse/ multiple stakeholder environment
• Experience in Telecom domain
• Experience and desire to work in a Global delivery environment.

The job entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Should be able to communicate by telephone, email or face to face.

Estimated annual compensation range for the candidate based in the below location will be:

Ontario: $ 92740 to $ 123375
