Position Description

Must be fluent in English and French to be considered.

Field Service Technicians will lead a team that installs, updates, performs preventative maintenance and other services on medical devices, including infusion pumps and batteries in hospitals across the United States, while delivering exceptional customer service.

Travelling Requirements

This is a 100% travel position. Local, regional and national travel is required. Assignment‑based schedule with 40 hours per week and overtime as needed.

Job Responsibilities
  • Provide ongoing communication and customer support to on‑site hospital staff.
  • Organize, test, update medical devices and install, configure hardware, software, and network products.
  • Conduct routine checks and record data from product tests after installation and configuration.
  • Document and submit daily data while maintaining high standards of product support quality documentation.
  • Commit to full‑time effort requiring travel locally, regionally and nationally.
  • Perform other duties at the discretion of management.
Job Requirements
  • Associate degree, equivalent military training or equivalent biomedical/technical field service experience (1+ years).
  • Strong computer skills; ability to troubleshoot project setup, technical issues and remote closeouts across multiple software programs.
  • Professional business acumen and effective communication skills.
  • Self‑motivated, able to work independently or collaboratively within a team.
  • Strong time‑management and organizational skills to ensure on‑time completion of project assignments.
  • Active, unrestricted driver’s licence and personal vehicle required for local work‑related assignments.
  • Ability to sit, stand for long periods and lift up to 70 pounds.
  • Must be able to meet hospital vendor credentialing requirements, including proof of vaccination status.
  • Must reside within 45 minutes–1 hour of an international or major airport (preferred within 30 miles of a major airport).
  • Must have personal vehicle in good running condition for local travel assignments.
Beneficial Qualifications
  • Background in biomedical, networking, military or field‑based technician roles.
  • Experience working in a technical role within a healthcare environment.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, OneNote, etc.).
