What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Execute service work at customer sites, adhering to health and safety requirements
- Troubleshoot, repair, assemble, install, test, commission, and start‑up new power equipment
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships, providing recommendations on equipment performance
- Collaborate with sales, marketing, and engineering teams, bringing field service expertise
- Mentor and guide other field service employees
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Familiarity with utility substation construction and work sites
- Trade education, college, or university diploma/degree in a technical field (electrical, mechanical, etc.)
- At least 5 years of electrical field service experience or relevant substation/transformer experience
- Hands‑on experience in servicing, maintaining, commissioning, and repairing power transformers and power system equipment
- Valid Canadian driver's license and acceptable driving record
