Job summary

Cirque du Soleil Entertainment Group is seeking a Technician – Payroll in Montreal. This temporary hybrid role involves four days in the office with one remote day, supporting payroll across Canada, the US, and other international locations. You will validate payroll, run reports, and address employee inquiries in a fast-paced, creative environment.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in payroll, an accounting diploma, strong Excel skills, and bilingual English/French proficiency, with CPA an asset.

Qualifications

• Minimum five years' experience in payroll processing.
• College-level diploma in accounting.
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office software, especially Excel.
• CPA certification an asset.
• Experience with US payroll is an asset.
• Fluency in French and English with ability to work with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Process Canadian, US and international payroll for locations assigned.
• Validate payroll before transmission and upon receipt for each pay period.
• Run various payroll-related reports.
• Handle pay-related employee inquiries for processing locations.
• Process year-end for Canada, the United States, and other countries.

As an ambassador of the Payroll service, you will …

You Will Be Known For

• Process Canadian, US and International payroll for various locations assigned to you.
• Validate the payroll (before transmission and upon receipt) for each pay period.
• Run various payroll-related reports.
• Handle pay-related employee inquiries for the locations whose payroll you process.
• Process yearend for Canada and the United States, as well as other countries.
