  • More than 10 years of experience.
  • Analytical skills and ability to propose solutions tailor-made to the clients needs.
  • Attention to detail and delivering high-quality work.
  • Practical knowledge of computer-assisted design tools such as AutoCAD (an asset).
  • Command of the French language (spoken and written).
  • ASP Construction card.

Overview

We are currently looking for an electrical technician with experience working on energy-related projects in an industrial setting. You will contribute to the smooth delivery of projects in the pulp and paper industry on-site at the facilities of our client Domtar in Windsor. This is a good opportunity to leverage your technical skills in the framework of projects involving industrial electrical and automation systems.

Primary responsibilities
  • Industrial and energy sectors
  • Participate in the design of drawings and specifications for the installation of industrial electrical systems (medium and low-voltage power distribution auxiliary services motor control etc.).
  • Estimate required material and workforce quantities.
  • Prepare and analyze bids and tender documents.
  • Conduct tests and initialize systems.
  • Perform on-site technical information surveys.
  • Conduct inspections and tests at equipment manufacturers facilities.
  • Supervise electrical work with contractors.
  • Conduct tests and perform electrical measurements.
