Job summary

Pursuit is hiring for a full-time seasonal Maintenance Technician at Golden Skybridge, BC. You will maintain attractions, respond to issues, and ensure safety and compliance across equipment and facilities. The role supports the Summer 2026 season with a focus on reliability and guest experience.

Qualifications

• Attention to detail is essential for accurate inspections and maintenance.
• Able to work with minimal supervision and take initiative.
• Must have strong physical stamina to lift, pull, and push heavy equipment.
• Work at heights and across varied terrain is required.
• Experience with mechanical equipment maintenance is preferred.
• Proficiency with hand and power tools is needed.
• Familiarity with CMMS to log work orders is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Maintain Golden Skybridge’s main attractions.
• Respond to issues promptly according to service priorities.
• Adjust equipment and replace defective parts.
• Test repaired equipment for proper performance.
• Service and maintain cleanliness of tools and attachments.
• Identify risks and communicate to management.
• Conduct inspections to standards (ACCT/NFPA/ANSI/CSA).
• Keep organized records of equipment, parts, and work orders.
• Maintain incident reporting and PPE use per regulations.
• Report to Lead Technician and perform other duties as required.

This job is posted as part of our seasonal hiring for Summer, 2026, it will be a full time seasonal role.

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Maintain Golden Skybridge’s main attractions
• Respond to assigned issues in a timely manner in accordance with the service support priority & assignment levels
• Adjust equipment and repair or replace defective parts
• Test repaired equipment for correct performance
• Service & maintain cleanliness of tools and attachments
• Identify & manage risks, communicating these to management as required
• Conduct scheduled inspections of attractions to manufacturer and other appropriate bodies standards (e.g. ACCT, NFPA, ANSI, CSA)
• Maintain organized work and storage locations, including accurate record keeping of equipment & parts inventory
• Maintain accurate records of work orders, maintenance actions and other administrative tasks
• Abide by all applicable laws and company requirements, including reporting of incidents and using appropriate PPE in accordance with various bodies such as WorkSafeBC and Technical Safety BC
• Reports directly to the Lead Technician
• Other duties as required

REQUIRED SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS

• Excellent attention to detail
• Self starter who can work with minimal supervision
• Strong physical stamina and conditioning with the ability to lift, pull & push heavy objects, tools & equipment
• Ability to work at great heights whilst conducting inspections and maintenance
• Able to work outside in all conditions experienced in Golden, BC
• Able to be on feet all day and cross unimproved mountainous terrain to access various locations
• Sound judgment and decision-making skills
• Availability to work a variety of shifts including evenings, weekends and Holidays
• Considered an Asset
• Experience with mechanical equipment maintenance
• Experience with varied hand & power tools
• Experience of alpine coaster maintenance
• Experience of zipline & challenge course equipment maintenance
• Experience using CMMS to respond and log work

The starting wage for this role is $22.00/hour.
