Job summary

Pursuit in Golden, BC, seeks a full-time seasonal technician to maintain the Golden Skybridge attractions and support safety inspections. You will respond to issues, repair and test equipment, and keep records of maintenance actions and parts inventory.

The role requires physical stamina, the ability to work at heights and outdoors, and flexibility for evenings/weekends/holidays. Starting wage is $22.00 per hour, with Pursuit perks and a collaborative team culture.

Qualifications

• Attention to detail required across daily maintenance tasks.
• Self-motivated, able to work with minimal supervision.
• Must have strong physical stamina and conditioning.
• Comfort with working at heights during inspections.
• Ability to work outdoors in all Golden, BC conditions.
• Must be on feet all day and navigate uneven terrain.
• Good judgment and problem-solving abilities are essential.
• Willingness to work evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Experience with mechanical equipment maintenance.
• Experience with common hand and power tools.
• Experience maintaining alpine coaster systems.
• Experience maintaining zipline and challenge course equipment.
• Experience using CMMS to log and respond to work orders.

Responsibilities

• Maintain Golden Skybridge’s main attractions.
• Respond to issues promptly per service priorities.
• Adjust equipment; repair or replace defective parts.
• Test repaired equipment for correct performance.
• Service and maintain cleanliness of tools and attachments.
• Identify risks and report to management.
• Conduct scheduled inspections per applicable standards.
• Keep organized work areas and inventory records.
• Maintain records of work orders and maintenance actions.
• Comply with laws and company requirements, including PPE usage.
• Report to the Lead Technician; perform other duties as needed.

The Golden Skybridge Adventure Park is located amidst six stunning National Parks and is an incredible place to live and work. This job is posted as part of our seasonal hiring for Summer, 2026, it will be a full time seasonal role.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Maintain Golden Skybridge’s main attractions
• Respond to assigned issues in a timely manner in accordance with the service support priority & assignment levels
• Adjust equipment and repair or replace defective parts
• Test repaired equipment for correct performance
• Service & maintain cleanliness of tools and attachments
• Identify & manage risks, communicating these to management as required
• Conduct scheduled inspections of attractions to manufacturer and other appropriate bodies standards (e.g. ACCT, NFPA, ANSI, CSA)
• Maintain organized work and storage locations, including accurate record keeping of equipment & parts inventory
• Maintain accurate records of work orders, maintenance actions and other administrative tasks
• Abide by all applicable laws and company requirements, including reporting of incidents and using appropriate PPE in accordance with various bodies such as WorkSafeBC and Technical Safety BC
• Reports directly to the Lead Technician
• Other duties as required

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Excellent attention to detail
• Self starter who can work with minimal supervision
• Strong physical stamina and conditioning with the ability to lift, pull & push heavy objects, tools & equipment
• Ability to work at great heights whilst conducting inspections and maintenance
• Able to work outside in all conditions experienced in Golden, BC
• Able to be on feet all day and cross unimproved mountainous terrain to access various locations
• Sound judgment and decision-making skills
• Availability to work a variety of shifts including evenings, weekends and Holidays Considered an Asset
• Experience with mechanical equipment maintenance
• Experience with varied hand & power tools
• Experience of alpine coaster maintenance
• Experience of zipline & challenge course equipment maintenance
• Experience using CMMS to respond and log work

The starting wage for this role is $22.00/hour.
