Description

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Performs ECG Tests which includes explaining procedures to patients and executing all aspects of the ECG test.
• Completes documentation of ECG study, including details of the study and observations of the state of the patient.
• Completes ECG requisitions and editing.
• Ensures that all laboratory supplies are stocked and equipment is well maintained.
• Maintains statistics on volume of patients seen.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Registration with CTAO and/or CSCT required.
• Successful completion of a recognized Cardiology Technician Program.
• Experience in performing GXT's, editing, holter set up, and scanning preferred.
• Must be able to work independently and prioritize work in a fast pace environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
• Must have an excellent attendance record.
• Excellent customer service record with proven success working as part of a team.
