Job summary

Position Overview
Education (Degree/Diploma/Certificate)
  • Grade XII University entrance required, plus four (4) years related experience in a research laboratory, or;
  • Degree/diploma in sciences (biochemistry, chemistry, microbiology, biology) and two (2) years related experience.

Note: An equivalent combination of education and experience, as deemed recognized by the Employer, may be considered in lieu of the above.

Qualifications and Skills
  • Proficiency in the use of spreadsheet, database, word processing, PowerPoint and internet software applications.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to interact well with others.
  • Ability to retain information which is of a confidential nature.
  • Mature and professional manner.
  • Strict attention to detail.
  • No known allergies to detergents or chemicals.
  • Excellent analytical, critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
