North Shore Kia has an immediate opening for a Licensed Red Seal Automotive Technician.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform repairs with efficiency in accordance with dealership standards and manufacturer specifications.
• Test-drive vehicles and use advanced diagnostic tools and service equipment to identify and resolve issues.
• Diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicle systems including engines, transmissions, electrical, steering, suspension, brakes, HVAC, and more.
• Communicate clearly with Service Advisors to ensure customers receive timely and accurate updates.
• Provide accurate repair time estimates and maintain detailed service records.
• Keep work areas clean, safe, and compliant with all safety protocols.

Qualifications

• Red Seal Automotive Service Technician Certification (Government-issued license).
• Minimum of 1 year of experience as a licensed technician (Kia or Hyundai experience an asset, but not required).
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
• Valid BC driver’s license with a clean driver’s abstract.
• Commitment to quality, safety, and customer satisfaction.
