We’re seeking a TECHNICAL WRITER to join our Canadian team.

How You’ll Contribute To The Global Mission

From maintaining and operating large Fixed-Wing aircraft like the Lockheed C130 or Boeing 737, to Sikorsky S-61 Helicopters with night vision capabilities, our success and attention to detail exists across the organization. As our Technical Writer, you’ll be the expert behind the words that keep our teams aligned, our operations compliant, and our documentation accessible across the organization. You will:

  • Collaborate with SMEs, Managers, and Regulatory Teams to write and edit procedures, manuals, and user guides.
  • Translate complex technical concepts into clear, audience-focused content.
  • Ensure documentation complies with aviation regulations (TC, FAA, CASA, ISO AS9110).
  • Support departments in preparing docs for audits, submissions, and certifications.
  • Reformat and standardize older documents using company templates.
  • Train employees on template use and enforce formatting consistency.
  • Publish, update, and manage documents using our SharePoint Document Management System.
  • Maintain revision histories, approvals, metadata, and archive obsolete materials.
  • Assist with proposal and grant writing as needed.
What You’ll Bring
  • Diploma/degree in Technical Writing or related field.
  • 3+ years technical writing experience, ideally in a regulated industry (aviation, aerospace, etc.).
  • Expert-level Microsoft Word skills; advanced with Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, Outlook.
  • Proficiency in SharePoint, Teams, Adobe Acrobat Pro.
  • Experience with SnagIt, Photoshop, Illustrator (or similar).
  • Familiarity with aviation terminology and regulations.
  • Strong editorial, organizational, and communication skills.
  • A detail-oriented, proactive, and solutions-driven mindset.
  • Asset: Conflict management training/certification.
