Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience working in a flat-rolled steel industry.
- Strong understanding of Service Centre equipment including processing capabilities and limitations.
- Background in steel material specifications, mechanical testing.
Responsibilities
- Establish a sound professional rapport with key suppliers and customer contacts.
- Daily review of production reports & distribution of non-conforming resolutions.
- Timely resolution of quarantined stock and finished product.
Skills
Exceptional written and verbal skills
Strong understanding of manufacturing systems
Proficient in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
Education
Degree in Metallurgy and/or Material Sciences (BEng and/or BSc.)
