Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience working in a flat-rolled steel industry.
• Strong understanding of Service Centre equipment including processing capabilities and limitations.
• Background in steel material specifications, mechanical testing.

Responsibilities

• Establish a sound professional rapport with key suppliers and customer contacts.
• Daily review of production reports & distribution of non-conforming resolutions.
• Timely resolution of quarantined stock and finished product.

Skills

Exceptional written and verbal skills

Strong understanding of manufacturing systems

Proficient in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint

Education

Degree in Metallurgy and/or Material Sciences (BEng and/or BSc.)
