Job summary

ATCO Electric in Lloydminster, AB is seeking a Technical Resources Technologist, Qualified to provide technical support across planning, regulatory, design and field operations, coordinating and maintaining department management systems.

Under supervision, you will produce and analyze data, prepare reports, gather data for audits, test hardware and software, and participate in project planning while developing and maintaining policies.

Qualifications

  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Completion of a post-secondary technology diploma in a related discipline from a recognized Canadian institute of technology.
  • May be required to attain registration with A.S.E.T.
  • 2 - 5 years of related experience.

Responsibilities

  • Produces, edits, analyzes and models data specific to the team function.
  • Prepares and submits reports and/or analysis in an accurate and timely manner for monthly, quarterly, annual and other special reports as required by the team function, department or regulation.
  • Gathers data and coordinates schedules for various audits.
  • Tests and facilitates field implementation of hardware and software.
  • Provides technical support and assistance that are required specific to or outside of the team function or department.
  • Participates in project planning meetings and acts as liaison with internal groups.
  • Develops and maintains policies.

About the Role:

This positionis responsible forproviding technical support to various departments within planning, regulatory,design,and/or field operations functions. This position will provide coordination, maintenance,monitoringand execution of one or a variety of department management systems which may include: environmental, financial, lab, operations, engineeringand/or maintenance.
