The Opportunity

We’re looking for a Technical Recruiting & HR Business Partner to drive both talent acquisition and people operations for our growing Vancouver team.

This is a primarily in-office / hybrid role blends strategic recruiting expertise with hands‑on HR leadership—you’ll own full‑cycle recruitment for technical roles while ensuring exceptional employee experiences across the organization. Reports to : Director, Human Resources

What You’ll Do
Technical Recruiting (Primary Focus)
  • Lead full-cycle recruitment for engineering, product, DevOps, and data roles
  • Partner with hiring managers to define role requirements and shape hiring strategy
  • Source top talent through creative outreach on platforms like LinkedIn, GitHub, and Stack Overflow
  • Manage pipelines, interviews, and candidate communications to deliver an exceptional experience

Build and nurture long‑term talent networks and communities

Contribute to employer branding initiatives that showcase Remarcable as a destination for tech talent

Stay ahead of market trends and compensation benchmarks to inform hiring strategy

HR Business Partner (Secondary Focus)
  • Serve as the first point of contact for employee relations, onboarding, and HR operations
  • Manage the employee lifecycle—from offer to exit—with consistency and care
  • Ensure compliance with BC and Canadian employment legislation
  • Support performance management, engagement surveys, and people analytics
  • Partner cross‑functionally with Operations, Finance, and IT to streamline people processes
  • Assist in policy development, benefits administration, and culture initiatives
What You Bring
  • 3–5+ years of progressive HR experience, including exposure to recruiting and employee relations
  • 2+ years of direct technical recruiting experience (preferably in SaaS or startup environments)
  • Deep understanding of technical roles and how to evaluate engineering and product candidates
  • Strong knowledge of Canadian and BC employment laws
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and stakeholder management skills
  • Proactive, organized, and comfortable managing competing priorities in a fast‑paced environment
  • Experience with HR and recruiting platforms (e.g., BambooHR, Ashby, ADP, LinkedIn Recruiter)
  • Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business, or related field; CPHR designation or technical recruiting certification a plus
