Job summary

Searidge Technologies, a global leader in Remote Tower and Digital Airport solutions, seeks a Technical Project Manager to drive projects from concept to close in a fast-paced, global setting.

You will manage cross-functional teams, coordinate with customers, subcontractors and regulators, and apply both waterfall and agile methods to deliver on strategic objectives.

Qualifications

  • PMP or Prince2 Certification with 7+ years of experience, including experience with external customers.
  • Engineering degree and/or technical background delivering computer-based solutions.
  • Ability to lead teams and learn new technologies.
  • Excellent organizational, time management and scheduling skills.
  • Strong analytical problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficiency in project management tools.
  • Willingness to travel internationally up to 25%.
  • Excellent written and spoken communication skills.
  • Familiarity with software safety assurance guidelines (EUROCAE ED 153/109A) in Air Traffic Management.
  • Experience in the aviation IT industry is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Manage all aspects of initiating, planning, executing, monitoring, controlling, and closing projects.
  • Utilize waterfall and agile methodologies.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders and manage customers, sub-contractors, suppliers, auditors, and regulators.
  • Define and manage project and product requirements; manage Change Orders; prevent scope creep.
  • Produce project documentation compliant with QA processes.
  • Serve as escalation point for issues and align resources across departments.
  • Support ongoing and future sales opportunities.
  • Act as a change agent in continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Prepare detailed project reviews, reports, and dashboards for stakeholders.
  • Maintain PMO processes and project documentation; contribute to templates and tools.
  • Ensure resource allocation and proactive risk mitigation.

Searidge Technologies, a global leader and preferred partner for Remote Tower and Digital Airport solutions, is currently recruiting for a Technical Project Manager who is ready to work in a fast paced, dynamic environment. It is a high energy position which requires a winning can-do attitude. Reporting to the Vice President of the PMO, the successful candidate will be involved in all aspects of the project lifecycle and deploy project management best practices from concept to close. The candidate is expected to manage multiple projects concurrently in diverse global markets and act in a leadership capacity to mentor the project team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage all aspects related to initiating, planning, executing, monitoring, controlling, and closing projects.
  • Ability to utilize both waterfall and agile project methodology.
  • Collaborate with project stakeholders and manage customers, sub-contractors, suppliers, auditors, and regulatory authorities.
  • Work with project stakeholders to define and manage project and product requirements, manage Change Orders, and prevent scope creep.
  • Write and deliver project documentation in compliance with QA processes
  • Act as a key escalation point for problem solving and facilitate alignment of project resources across functional departments.
  • Support on-going and future sales opportunities.
  • Act as a change agent in continuous improvement initiatives and development of formal methodologies.
  • Complete project reviews, lessons learned and support the development and reporting of key performance
  • Prepare detailed project reports, dashboards, and documentation for both internal and external stakeholders
  • Support PMO processes by maintaining project documentation, adhering to established workflows, and contributing to the development of project management templates and tools.
  • Ensure the effective allocation of resources and proactively identify and mitigate risks. metrics for senior management.

Key Qualifications

  • PMP or Prince2 Certification with 7+ years of relevant experience, including significant experience working with external customers.
  • Engineering degree and / or technical background delivering computer-based solutions.
  • Ability to lead teams and learn new technologies.
  • Organization skills, excellent time management and scheduling.
  • Analytical skills to resolve challenges and problems
  • Proficiency in project management tools
  • Ability to Travel Internationally – up to 25% of the time.
  • Excellent Communication skills, both written and spoken.
  • Familiarity with guidelines and compliance requirements for software safety assurance in Air Traffic Management Systems (e.g. EUROCAE ED 153, EUROCAE ED 109A) in Air Traffic Management Systems.
  • Experience in the aviation IT industry is a plus
  • Solid understanding of IT infrastructure, software development life cycles, and system integrations. Knowledge and experience of Quality Assurance Processes (ISO 9001:2015 or similar)
