Job summary

Sanmina Corporation's Advanced Microsystems Technologies (AMT) seeks an experienced Technical Program Manager to lead the design, development and transfer to manufacturing of optical transceivers and related initiatives. You will guide projects from concept through volume manufacturing, coordinating across engineering, supply chain and manufacturing teams.

You will define schedules in MS Project, manage budgets, assess risks and communicate progress to customers and stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum of 8 years of direct and relevant experience in Program Management and/or Product Development.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Understanding of the product development process from concept to volume manufacturing.
• Experience transferring complex products to manufacturing.
• Experience with optical and microelectronic technologies is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Develop project schedules in MS Project with resource and effort estimation.
• Support business development and engineering in responding to RFIs or RFQs.
• Define development program per Product Development Process.
• Ensure decisions align with customer contracts and communication protocols.
• Track schedules and deliverables; manage risks and escalate issues as needed.
• Apply financial acumen to keep projects within budget.
• Prepare documentation and presentations for stakeholders.
• Facilitate product design review meetings.
• Oversee prototype and pre-production builds and supply chain.
• Define and execute NPI activities including ramp planning and manufacturing readiness.
• Travel may be required.
