Job summary

Stripe is seeking a Product-focused Technical Program Manager to drive the onboarding programs within Growth. You will own a high-impact program, shaping its direction, health, and outcomes across onboarding—from acquisition through activation and expansion.

In this role, you will partner with Growth leadership to set strategy, align multiple DRIs, and influence product and engineering roadmaps to deliver a cohesive onboarding experience for customers globally.

Within Growth, the onboarding program is how new and existing users get to their first successful use of Stripe as quickly and completely as possible. A cohesive onboarding experience is critical to Stripe's ability to convert prospects, activate new products, and compete against increasingly sophisticated alternatives.

Onboarding spans several interconnected surfaces:

1. Acquisition and intent capture — first-touch experiences that match prospects to the right products and entry points.
2. Account setup and activation — guided flows that get users live with the right integration shape.
3. In-product discovery — contextual surfaces that help new and existing users adopt additional products over time.

These surfaces are deeply interdependent, span dozens of cross-functional teams, and directly shape Stripe's new user activation and product attach rates.

What you’ll do

• We are seeking a product-focused Technical Program Manager to drive Stripe's onboarding programs. This is a high-impact role at the intersection of growth strategy, product management, and cross-organizational program ownership.
• In this role, you will own one of the most strategically consequential programs in Growth, driving the direction, health, and outcomes of Stripe's onboarding experience end-to-end.
• You will set the program strategy in partnership with Growth leadership, holding organizations accountable to the success of the program.
• Drive cross-org decisions across DRIs in Growth, Dashboard, Docs, Marketing, and product teams actively resolving the hard, ambiguous integration and ownership questions that fall between team boundaries.
• Influence and shape product and engineering roadmaps bringing a program-level perspective to team planning cycles, and advocating for cross-cutting investments that no single team will prioritize on their own.

Qualifications

Minimum requirements

• 5+ years of technical program management experience with demonstrated success in driving complex cross organizational programs.
• Strong product sense and ability to understand enterprise customer needs
• Demonstrated ability to communicate with precision and credibility across engineering, product, and executive audiences, translating complex technical trade-offs into strategic decisions, and driving alignment.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and align cross-functional teams — driving decisions, resolving conflict, and building consensus across organizations with competing priorities
• Proven track record of successful program delivery in complex technical environments
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
