Job summary

OSI Maritime Systems Ltd. is seeking a detail-oriented professional to handle metadata input for hardware products and to manage engineering change requests to ensure strict configuration management.

You will coordinate JIRA issue logging for external support, and provide technical support for product design, prototyping and testing. You will collaborate with engineers in a collaborative, growth-focused environment and support a broad range of hardware development activities while maintaining

Qualifications

• Attention to data accuracy and detail-oriented data entry.
• Workflow- and process-driven mindset.
• Able to prioritize, multitask and manage multiple tasks.
• Exposure to issue monitoring tools (JIRA) and PLM (PDX).
• Experience with hardware product development and engineering teams.
• Strong written and verbal English communication.
• MS Office proficiency, especially Excel and Word.

Responsibilities

• Metadata input for Hardware Products in coordination with engineers.
• Raise and manage Engineering Change Requests and Notices for Configuration Management.

What will you do?

• Metadata input for Hardware Products, this may involve consulting with engineers to find the appropriate source of data.
• Raising, and managing Engineering Change Requests and Notices to maintain strict Configuration Management on engineering products.
• Coordinate the departmental JIRA issue logging for external support requests and provide technical support for Product Design, Prototyping and Testing.
• Other tasks as assigned.

What will you bring?

• A diligent professional with a focus on getting the details correct and ensuring accuracy of data entry.
• A demonstrated workflow and process-oriented mentality.
• Self-motivated and able to prioritize efficiently, and handle multiple tasks at any one time Some exposure to issue monitoring applications (JIRA or similar) and PLM applications (PDX or similar).
• Some experience with hardware product development and interest to work as part of an engineering team.
• Good verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Good MS Office proficiency, especially Excel and Word.
