Job summary

A manufacturing company is looking for a Technical Process Director to oversee processes and ensure product quality. The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s degree and over 3 years of technical experience in an industrial manufacturing environment, preferably with OSB processes. Additional qualifications include strong management skills and proficiency in statistical analysis. The position offers relocation assistance to a community two hours outside Edmonton, Alberta.

Qualifications

• 3+ years technical process experience in Industrial Manufacturing.
• Experience in OSB manufacturing preferred.
• Strong management skills in a Technical Manager role.
• Experience managing on-site lab and process recipes.
• EH&S knowledge at highest standard.
• Proficient in MS Office and data analysis using statistics.
• OSB manufacturing exposure preferred.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science or Engineering Degree
• 3+ years technical process experience within an Industrial Manufacturing Environment, with strong preference for OSB manufacturing process exposure
• Demonstrated success in a Technical Manager level role, maintaining Product Quality, implementing Process Improvements and managing multiple projects
• Experienced managing on-site lab and process recipe
• Holds Environment Health & Safety to the Highest Standard
• Strong Computer Proficiency with MS Office Programs
• Strong experience with utilizing Statistics and Statistical Analysis
