Job summary

USEReady Inc. is seeking an experienced Azure Data Engineer and Technical Lead to design and implement enterprise-scale Azure Databricks data platforms. You will own complex pipelines, optimize performance and costs, and establish governance using Unity Catalog.

You will mentor engineers, partner with stakeholders, and drive architectural decisions for scalable data solutions across the organization.

Qualifications

• Deep hands-on experience with Azure Databricks in enterprise-scale data platforms.
• Experience with Azure Data Factory for ETL and data orchestration.
• Governance and access control using Unity Catalog.
• Strong understanding of Apache Spark internals and performance tuning.
• Databricks compute, performance and cost optimization.
• Experience with Delta Lake, ADLS, Synapse and Azure SQL.
• Solid data modeling and data warehousing skills.

Are you an experienced Azure Data Engineer who enjoys solving complex data challenges and taking technical ownership of enterprise-scale platforms?

We’re looking for a Technical Lead – Azure Databricks Engineer with 8–10 years of Data Engineering experience and strong hands‑on expertise in Azure Databricks, PySpark, ADF, and modern data architecture.

What we’re looking for

• Deep hands‑on expertise in Azure Databricks
• Azure Data Factory (ADF) for ETL/data pipeline orchestration
• Unity Catalog for governance, security, lineage & access control
• Strong understanding of Apache Spark internals and performance tuning
• Databricks performance, compute & cost optimization
• Experience with Delta Lake, ADLS, Synapse & Azure SQL
• Strong understanding of data modeling, schema design & data warehousing
• Ability to architect Databricks environments and define pipeline/data modeling strategies
• Experience mentoring engineers and providing technical leadership
