Technical Interview Support

We are seeking a knowledgeable and detail-oriented Technical Interview Support to assist the recruitment team during interviews for one of our clients in the mining industry. This person will play an important role in evaluating candidates’ technical qualifications by participating in interviews, asking job-specific questions, and providing professional feedback on their suitability.

About the Role
  • Participate in interviews alongside the recruiter or hiring manager.
  • Lead or assist with technical questioning to assess candidates’ skills and experience.
  • Evaluate candidate responses and provide input on technical competence and overall fit.
  • Collaborate with HR to refine technical interview questions and scoring criteria.
  • Ensure all interview questions align with the job description and safety standards.
  • Maintain confidentiality and professionalism throughout the recruitment process.
  • Provide post-interview summaries or recommendations to the hiring team.
  • Support continuous improvement of the recruitment process for technical roles.
What You Need
  • Levert training modules (mandatory)
  • Previous experience in mining, maintenance, or heavy industrial operations (e.g., Millwright, Electrician, Mechanic, or Engineering background).
  • Strong technical knowledge related to mining equipment, processes, and safety protocols.
  • Ability to assess technical proficiency through structured questioning.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Professional, objective, and comfortable interacting with candidates at all levels.
  • Understanding of recruitment processes is an asset but not required.
  • Must be legally eligible to work in Canada.
