Job Description
What is the opportunity?

We’re seeking a Technical Governance & Insights Manager to serve as a key administrative and operational leader supporting our technical governance framework. This role is instrumental in ensuring organizational alignment on architectural decisions, maintaining compliance through cyclical attestations, and facilitating seamless coordination of our Architecture Review Board (ARB).

The successful candidate will be the backbone of our technical governance processes, enabling strategic decision-making across the enterprise while maintaining rigorous documentation and stakeholder communication standards. This position uniquely combines governance expertise with advanced analytics and AI capabilities, leveraging data-driven insights and emerging technologies to enhance governance effectiveness, identify risks, and optimize processes across our technical infrastructure.

What will you do?
  • Technical Governance Facilitation : Support the implementation and evolution of RBC’s technical governance framework, ensuring alignment with organizational standards and regulatory requirements.

  • Data-Driven Governance Analysis : Utilize analytics tools and dashboards to monitor governance compliance trends, identify patterns in architectural decisions, and generate actionable insights that inform policy enhancements and strategic governance improvements.

  • AI & Automation Integration : Evaluate and recommend AI-powered tools for automating governance workflows, attestation tracking, and compliance monitoring; assess opportunities to deploy agentic AI solutions and intelligent automation to streamline repetitive administrative processes and enhance decision support.

  • Cyclical Attestations Management : Coordinate, schedule, and manage the collection and documentation of cyclical attestations from stakeholders, maintaining audit trails and compliance records; leverage predictive analytics to flag non-compliance trends, predict attestation gaps, and optimize collection workflows.

  • Architecture Review Board Administration : Serve as the primary administrative coordinator for the ARB, including meeting scheduling, agenda development, documentation, and action item tracking; utilize data analytics to support evidence-based agenda prioritization and track recommendation outcomes.

  • Monthly Meeting Coordination : Plan and execute monthly ARB meetings, prepare meeting materials, capture decisions and recommendations, and distribute meeting minutes to stakeholders; analyze meeting patterns, recommendation trends, and decision velocity to optimize governance processes and identify emerging architectural risks.

  • Administrative Task Management : Manage governance-related administrative functions including document management, stakeholder communication, and process improvement initiatives; use data analytics to identify bottlenecks, measure process efficiency, and recommend data-backed enhancements.

  • Stakeholder Communication : Liaison between technical teams, leadership, and governance bodies to ensure clear communication and alignment on architectural decisions and initiatives; present analytics-backed insights on governance health, compliance metrics, and emerging technology risks.

  • Documentation & Records Management : Maintain comprehensive records of governance activities, decisions, and attestations for audit and compliance purposes; structure and organize governance data to enable analytical querying, reporting, and trend analysis.

What do you need to succeed?

  • Ability to translate governance data into actionable insights; proficiency with analytical methodologies to support decision-making, risk identification, and process optimization.
