Project Development Associate – Distributed Generation (C&I Offsite Focus)
Position Overview

As part of the Utility Scale team, this role will focus on Commercial & Industrial (C&I) offsite distributed generation projects. The ideal candidate will combine technical understanding with strong stakeholder engagement skills to advance distributed generation initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Drive development of C&I offsite distributed generation projects, ensuring compliance and alignment with business objectives.
  • Represent the company at public hearings, effectively communicating projectdetailsand addressing regulatory or community concerns.
  • Build and maintain relationships with public officers and regulatory bodies to secure permits and approvals.
  • Coordinate internal teams and external partners to manage timelines, budgets, and risk mitigation.
  • Support strategic growth of distributed generation within the Utility Scale portfolio.
Desired Skills & Experience
  • Demonstrated ability to interface with public officers and bodies, including experience attending public hearings.
  • Exposure to project development processes, including permitting and stakeholder engagement.
  • Experience in corporate environments, particularly related to C&I business development.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and organizational skills.
  • Familiarity with renewable energy markets and distributed generation technologies ismandatory.
