  • Ensure good housekeeping and safety procedures are maintained.
  • Move skids into disposal, help drivers load or unload trucks.
  • Ensure that the monthly inventory count is accurate.

Position Summary

We are looking for a Technical Assistant to join our Tech team in Richmond, BC. As a Technical Assistant you will be responsible for supporting tech operations focused on our IT peripheral distribution including warehousing functions from offloading incoming shipments, processing inventory, moving inventory throughout the warehouse and other duties.

If you want to get your foot in the door by working in IT; if you can adapt to a constantly changing workload while maintaining a high level of accuracy, cleanliness, and safety, then this role is perfect for you! We offer onsite training, competitive pay with benefits/vacation and a Monday – Friday schedule with day shift hours.

Responsibilities:
  • Pick and process orders on multiple systems as required.
  • Update shipped items information on the system.
  • Organize and process incoming warehouse inventory.
  • Verify documents for correctness on shipping and receiving documents.
  • Coordinate shipping with Mail room.
  • Support in preparing computers and peripherals for shipment when needed (basic configuration and packing).
  • Ensure good housekeeping and safety procedures are maintained in the shipping area.
  • Move skids into disposal, help drivers load or unload trucks when needed.
  • Ensure that the monthly inventory count is accurate.
Qualifications and Education Requirements:
  • Must be organized and able to multi‑task.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Basic computer user skills (Windows, Excel) an asset.
  • Ability to work under pressure and in a fast‑paced work environment.
  • Adaptability to changes and quick learning of company policies.
  • Team‑player with the ability to work independently.
  • Accountability for team and cross‑departmental collaboration.
  • Some warehouse experience preferred; all are welcome to apply.

Position Requirements:
  • Must be able to lift 60+ lbs.
  • Must pass a criminal record check (CPIC).
