Story Behind the Need
The Global Technology & Enterprise Platforms (GTEP) team is responsible for managing and supporting Intune, following the guidelines, standards and definitions of GTEP Global Operations covering Canada, Caribbean, Latin America (LATAM) and various other countries. Manage and implementation and automation of new technology, security patches and software deployment across the bank, as well as collaborating in the process of continuous improvement to the different subsidiaries under the direction of globalization and consolidation of applications and services. The Technical Specialist Advisory will be supporting the MS Intune project.

Typical Day in Role
- General Intune administration, including device management, software deployment, package creation, patching, and troubleshooting.
- Configure and maintain security, compliance, conditional access, and data protection policies within Microsoft Entra ID.
- Manage full digital identity lifecycle: provisioning, deactivation, RBAC, permission delegation, and access governance.
- Automate administrative and operational tasks using PowerShell and other scripting tools.
- Monitor and enforce security compliance; generate audit, reporting, and governance documentation.
- Support second‑ and third‑level incidents related to identity, access, devices, and Intune deployments.
- Participate in designing identity, mobility, and enterprise security architectures.
- Coordinate testing, validation, and rollout of new features, updates, and platform changes.
- Provide consultancy on Intune administration, implementation, and best practices.
- Develop test plans, test strategies, and perform manual/automated testing for software packages and deployments.
- Collaborate with global teams to standardize and automate tools, processes, and technologies for software deployment and reporting.
- Work closely with infrastructure, security, technical support, and development teams to ensure integrated operations.
- Support large‑scale, complex Intune environments across cross‑domain architectures.
- Operate within a global team structure (Canada, Caribbean, US, UK, LATAM) with 24/7 rotational support for extensive server/workstation environments.
- Maintain documentation for operational procedures, technical configurations, and user guides.
Candidate Requirements / Must Have Skills
- 8+ years of working experience as a Technical Analyst.
- 5+ years of experience implementing and supporting Microsoft Intune and Entra ID. (SCCM, Application Packaging, Reporting/SQL queries; Software Distribution, through Intune and SCCM, Autopilot)
- 3+ years of experience in managing device and/or identity management platforms.
- 2+ years of experience with Microsoft Defender for Endpoint, Microsoft Purview, and Microsoft Compliance Manager.
- 2+ years of experience integrating cloud services (Microsoft 365, Azure) with identity/security solutions.
- 1+ year experience with Entra Policies, Active Directory and Group Policy.
Nice‑To‑Have Skills
- Bilingual in Spanish.
- Experience in automation with PowerShell and use of monitoring tools.
- Experience in Power BI reporting and integrating with Intune to generate dashboards.
- Exposure to enterprise‑scale identity/security projects in financial services.
Education
- Post‑secondary degree in a technical field such as computer science, computer engineering or related IT field required.

- You will readily accept responsibility and demonstrate ability to work independently and in a team environment to help others to understand & update systems configuration documents and technical specifications; develop and implement test plans and test scripts; as well as document server changes.
